Festivities commence on the 19th at 6PM-11PM and again on the 20th at 4PM-11PM.
Location of the event is at:
KSU Sports & Entertainment Park, 3200 George Busbee Pkwy NW Kennesaw, GA 30144
Spooky Activities and amenities include:
Billed as a family friendly event, the hot air balloon festival will include Costume Show Offs, Brilliant Balloon Glows, Trick-or-Treating (at the balloons), Tethered Balloon Rides, Multiple Entertainment Stages, Live Music, Vendor Marketplace, Sports Bar, Artist Market, Amazing Food Vendors, Beer Garden, Roving Entertainers, Free Interactive Kids Area, plus so much more!
Tethered hot air balloon ride tickets are limited so arrive early. For those wondering just what a Tethered hot air balloon ride entails, it’s essentially a 5 minute or less flight in the gondola or basket beneath a large hot air balloon that is tethered/anchored to at least three separate and stationary points. Generally, only a small amount of people are permitted in the basket all at once, sometimes two or three and the ride is short lived but thrilling and safer than traditional hot air balloon rides!
It’s estimated there will be more than the 50,000 plus attendees who paid a visit to this festival last year, so you will want to snag your tickets as soon as they are available for purchase. When we contacted organizers we were told ticket sales could open as early as June 2018, tentatively. Stay tuned for more information.
